Issaquah

The basics.

Located in King County, Washington between the gorgeous Issaquah Alps and the Sammamish Plateau, Issaquah has a comfortable population of 30,434 residents within a relatively small area of 11 square miles. Ranked 6th in growth for all communities in Washington, this town has a strong draw for anyone looking for both scenic nature and nearby city convenience.

Quality of life.

Bothell has a moderate climate, with cool summers and not very cold winters which precipitate more rain than snow. Bothell’s many neighborhoods are mostly quiet residential areas, but if you’re looking for a place to shop, eat, or socialize, the downtown and Canyon Park areas are home to several restaurants, shops, and businesses. Spots like Carolina Smoke BBQ, Casa De Mama, and the Practical Sparrow cafe offer a varied range of choices whatever you may be craving.  For recreation, the Sammamish river trail is a beautiful 10.9-mile trail with accessibility for biking as well.

Raising children.

Issaquah has the 15th largest school district in Washington with over 18,000 students. It hosts 15 elementary schools, five middle schools, three comprehensive high schools, and an alternative high school – all nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. This area offers plenty of space for outdoor recreation and among in its gorgeous mountains yet still maintains a close distance to a major US city and all of the opportunity therein, making Issaquah an ideal place for any child to grow up.

Business opportunity.

Issaquah was rated as the 2nd fastest growing suburb in the Washington by Forbes.com and the 89th fastest in the continental U.S., clearly, a location to be desired. Only a 20-minute drive from downtown Seattle, it’s hard to believe that a town with such rich natural beauty could be so close to work. If you’re looking to cut down your commute to a private, quiet neighborhood, while maintaining access to the booming economic hub of Seattle, we highly recommend looking into Issaquah.
